Pekin Ducks

Over the past few months we have carefully selected our breeding stock of this wonderful duck, now having nice big, healthy boys and girls.

The Pekin make a great backyard pet, as well as being a super egg layer.  They have a wonderful, happy, bubbly nature and are real characters.   For those of you wanting a couple of ducks as pets or a few for the dam these guys are a must.

I actually have a little fella who is blind and he is the sweetest boy, he has a real personality.  Pekins arent the best mothers and tend to get a bit bored when sitting on eggs, so after a couple of weeks, often leave the eggs.  They are also a duck that doesnt fly, so ideal for backyards.

The Pekin is also a great meat bird, they grow and mature extremely quickly.  If you have ever had duck before at a restaurant or purchased one from a supermarket, then it was more than likely, Pekin.

We often have available, duck eggs, ducklings and adult birds.
