Breeds - Ducks
Muscovy
The Muscovy is more a meat bird than an egg layer, however they do produce a reasonable amount of years each year. They are a duck that are slow to grow and mature, but once they have they can be an extremely big, heavy bird.
We find the Muscovy in a wide range of colourings, from basic white, right through to black, brown, blue, grey and a mixture of these colours with white. Im rather fond of the blues and have a favourite called, Blue Boy.
Muscovies are great little mothers and will protect and guard their nests and babies. Unlike the Pekin who dont fly, the Muscovy can fly pretty well.
We sometimes have ducklings and adult birds for sale.
